Security and data handling
You are trusting us with access to your firm's Lawmatics account, which holds your clients' information. Here is exactly how that access works, what we do and do not touch, and who else is involved. No black box.
How account access works.
Installing a system needs temporary access to your Lawmatics account through our agency relationship. We email Lawmatics support and copy you, asking them to add your firm to our agency; you reply once to confirm. That is the whole access step.
We take only the access an install needs, we do not extract or retain your client data, and you can revoke access at any time from inside Lawmatics. Your systems run in your own account, under a license you own, so you can edit or remove anything after we hand off.
What we do, and what we do not do.
We do not sell or rent your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not copy your client records out of Lawmatics. Everything on this site is served over HTTPS, and our analytics are cookieless and aggregate.
The correspondence and purchase records we do keep, and your rights over them, are covered in our privacy policy.
Who else is involved.
The third parties that help run LexLabs, and what each one does.
- Lawmatics
- The CRM your systems run in. You keep your own Lawmatics subscription; we install into your account through the agency relationship, and you can revoke that access at any time.
- Stripe
- Processes payments for purchases. Card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Vercel
- Hosts this website and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking.
- Email forwarding
- Routes mail sent to our address so we can receive and reply to your messages. Nothing more.
